Amit founded Photojojo, a photography business that sourced content and products for photographers (acquired in 2014). He turned to writing optimistic science fiction after surviving leukaemia to inspire future makers.

James built Parse (acquired by Facebook), a platform that enabled users to deploy scalable mobile backends in minutes. After the sale, he followed a similar journey to Amit’s of turning to science fiction and ultimately launching Sudowrite.
